General office of Public
Prosecutor has not received any documents from the Secretariat of President concerning
examination of actions of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Deputy prosecutor Tetyana
Kornyakova told journalists.
“As of yesterday evening
the Prosecutor’s General Office did not have any documents,” she said and added
that she did not have information on that whether the documents arrived this
morning.
As a reminder, the
Presidential Secretariat of Ukraine claims that it hands to law-enforcement
agencies some materials about traces of high treason and political corruption
in activities of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.
According to the
President`s press-office, deputy President’s Chief of Staff Andriy Kyslynskiy
claimed this on Monday.
According to him, the
Secretariat has got information that the political leadership of the Russian
Federation has been considering with a particular attention the decision to
support Tymoshenko’s candidacy at the upcoming Ukrainian Presidential election
after she fulfills a condition of a passive position of the Prime Minister of
Ukraine and her political force concerning the conflict with Georgia.
“A center headed by Victor
Medvedchuk was created in Moscow to coordinate the Election-2010 project. The
center also includes Serhiy Klyuyev, Hryhoriy Surkis, and Oleksander
Zadorozhny. Dmytro Tabachnyk will be busy with humanitarian projects in
Ukraine”, the statement of the Presidential Secretariat reads.
At the same time, according
to O.Kyslynskiy, nearly US $1 billion dollars have already been reserved for
implementation of the Yulia Tymoshenko project.
“Last week we claimed that
there was information concerning a systematic work of Yulia Tymoshenko in favor
of the Russian side’s interests. Unfortunately, this information has been
confirmed. Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko has already crossed her Rubicon, and,
obviously, there is no way back. Her stance on Georgia is connected namely with
this fact – she has no opportunity for political maneuvers”, A.Kyslynskiy
claimed.
“The work of the election
headquarters has in fact been kicked off. Ukrainian financial-industrial
groups, which already supported the pro-Russian project in 2004, are joining
it. Paying a visit to Sardinia with her closest entourage, Yulia Tymoshenko
calls to join under her banners “the yesterday’s people”, who, headed by
Medvedchuk, are seeking to revenge. Recently L.D.Kuchma [ex-President of Ukraine]
has joined them on personal invitation of Yulia Tymoshenko”, the deputy
President’s Chief of Staff claimed.
“We studied very well the
hand and methods of this company in 2004. That is why you should not be
surprised with seeing the insolent information campaign, flows of lies and
noise effects, such as a new political reform or attempts of President’s
impeachment. We transfer our materials to law-enforcement agencies for a
detailed investigation. The society has a right to get an answer to the
question how far can politicians go, and where a political struggle finishes
and treason of national interests begins”, A.Kyslenskiy said.
