Gazprom says gas price for Ukraine might be less than $250

According to the agreement between Naftogaz and Gazprom, the average annual gas price for Ukraine in 2009 might be less than $250 per ths cu m, Gazprom chairman Aleksandr Medvedev informed.

“According to the agreement and if documents are signed, the forecast says that the gas price will be less than 250 USD,” Medvedev said, UNIAN reported.

Gazprom representative also noted that the gas price would be formed on the basis of formula approach.
