Barroso thanked Yulia Tymoshenko for resolving the gas dispute

At the joint press conference with Viktor Yuschenko in Brussels, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso stressed he kept in touch intensively with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and Prime Minister of Russia Volodymyr Putinduring last days.

He highly estimated the contracts of gas supplies and transit signed between Ukraine and Russia on January 19, in Moscow.

“I want to thank Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko for all her work aimed at resolving this crisis,” Jose Manuel Barroso said.
