Naftogaz of Ukraine gets first results in Egypt

In frames of implementation of a concession agreement on oil prospecting and exploitation, the Ukraine-based company keeps on developing a concession plot Alam El Shawish in Egypt.

When testing the third (lower) level of the extension well Hg-34/3, oil flow with a yield of 80 tons a day was observed.

After the testing it was decided to consider the well opened. At the same time, the largest stock is supposed to be in the second level with a payable thickness of 16 meters. An overall exploitation of all levels of the well will let increase daily oil production several times.
