Tymoshenko to press on the parliament for IMF money

The government will demand the parliament to adopt five drafts laws of the anti-crisis package on March 31 in order to get another tranche of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) credit, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said.

"On March 31, the Verkhovna Rada will consider a package of anti-crisis laws, which forms the basis for the program of cooperation with the IMF and the recovery of Ukraine's financial system. I believe that the package will be successfully passed and Ukraine will get the second tranche from the IMF," she said at a joint press conference with the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso in Brussels on Monday.
