President hoping to attract investments on the occasion of Euro-2012

In an interview with the Arabic channel Abu Dhabi TV Viktor Yushchenko noted that Ukraine is interested in attracting investments from the UAE into projects related to preparation to Euro 2012.

This applies both to development of transport and tourist infrastructure. "We are interested in development of tourism infrastructure in all cities that will host Euro 2012 in Ukraine. We need to build more than 200 hotels. It is an attractive proposition for potential investors," he said, according to the presidential press office.

He also noted that by the end of this year representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the UAE together with a large number of businessmen plan to visit Ukraine. The purpose of the visit is to explore opportunities for investment into projects within the framework of Euro 2012.
